Garrett Weddle holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Virginia Tech. Over the past 15 years, he has helped raise millions of dollars in support of higher education while serving in leadership roles at both the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) and Virginia Tech. In addition to his higher education fundraising career, Garrett spent 16 years listing, selling, and investing in real estate. His wife, Meg, manages the family clothing business in Radford, Virginia, which they established more than 40 years ago. Throughout his distinguished entrepreneurial and professional career, Garrett has received numerous honors and held several leadership positions, including Radford Business Person of the Year, Radford City Councilman, President of the Radford Chamber of Commerce, and President of the New River Valley Economic Development Alliance. Garrett is also a graduate of Leadership Tampa Bay and serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Florida Council for Resource Development.
